The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services on the community.

SASSA might be rendering solutions which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency stated it is actually alarmed with regard to the substantial number of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The aim on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] sassa is to reach-out to a substantial number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This really is mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no completely functional office committed to service the area on a regular basis. The assistance point produced for intervention encounters a substantial inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, that makes it complicated for the Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more sources to allow the servicing of all consumers and enhance entry to Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
